Do not fret drizzle
Or be bothered by cold drops
Ignore howling wind
Instead focus on rainbows
And how many will appear
Do not fret drizzle
Or be bothered by cold drops
Ignore howling wind
Instead focus on rainbows
And how many will appear
Golden sunset shines
Through pea-sized water droplets
Crystalline clear
Trailing a fuzzy rainbow
Where one would expect shadow
The wave climbs over
Envelops me with colors
In transparency
Texture crashes all around
Dancing in the undertow
A kaleidoscope,
Reflected in your wide eyes,
Both chocolate brown,
Like my own but brighter still,
The eighth wonder of the world!
Born from silver clouds
And kissed with golden light
Drip by drop they fall
Cool and clear and colorless
For those lacking perspective
Out every window
The message rings loud and clear,
“Alone together,”
My eyes go watercolor,
The view is still beautiful.
